Based on our primary impressions, we realised that in order to analyse Pick 'n Pay's online engagement effectively we needed to clearly define what business objectives they hope to achieve for their business with their presence online.
we identified the following objectives:
Shopping - they would like more people shopping online and more often. This involves making more people aware of PnP online shopping. Shopping online must be a positive experience (easy and helpful). It must also up sell and cross sell. There must also be usful info for those that still preffer to shop at the stores.
Lifestyle - They would like people engaging with the PnP’s “fresh” lifestyle. Getting people to read their magazine, participate in their sports events and see them as a source of advise on health and nutrition. (make and emotional attachment)
Involvement - They want to show that they are a benefit to the community and their investors. All information about their company financially, their mission and their CSI involvements made available to everyone.
Are these objectives being met at the moment?
